Step 1: Verify Item and Return Request
- Check the Item:
Confirm the item in question is listed as non-returnable on our website. - Check Marketplace Listing:
Verify if the item on the marketplace (Amazon, eBay, Walmart) has any indication that it is non-returnable. If it is not specified, proceed to the next step.
Step 2: Notify the Customer
- Inform the Customer:
Politely inform the marketplace customer that the item is non-returnable according to our website’s policy, but we can still accept the return with the application of a restocking fee.
Example Response:
“Thank you for reaching out. While our website lists the Truck Bed Mattress as non-returnable, we understand that it was not specified as such on the marketplace. We can accept the return of the mattress; however, please note that a 50% restocking fee will apply. If you agree to this fee, we will proceed with the return process.”
Step 3: Approval or Denial of Return
If the customer agrees to restocking fee than check restocking fee policy
example:- To return a mattress , we need to deduct 50% restocking fee from his refund.
