We receive orders from different sources:
- Marketplace
- Amazon
- Walmart
- eBay
- Website
- Walk-in at our store
After receiving an order, we run a program named Auto Batch, which generates a shipment for all orders we receive. Auto Batch creates the shipping label and packing slip.
Shipment Modes:
- Ground: For packages weighing less than 65 lbs, we use the FedEx carrier.
- LTL (Less-than-Truckload): For orders weighing over 400 lbs, we use the R&L carrier.
- CPU (Customer Pickup)
When Auto Batch runs, it generates PDF documents for ground labels and packing slips, each containing location details (where the item is located). We have designated locations in our warehouse, such as Building 1 and Building 2, which are further divided into three sub-areas for each building.
For example:
- Building 1: North, Middle, South
- Building 2: North, Middle, South
The warehouse team prints these PDFs for each sub-area and shares them with the picker and packer teams. The items are picked, scanned , and an Exit Scan is applied, indicating that the package is ready to leave the warehouse and be picked up by the carrier.
After the carrier picks up the packages, they also apply scans. The carrier then delivers the package to the customer's address.
